PC Gaming Update

Apologies for the long period between updates; we've had a changing of the guard of sorts for the PC side of things. The following changes are being made to the lab this week (2/15):

- Updated clients for World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons Online, and Rappelz.
- Updated and tweaked Guild Wars so that all downloadable data is pre-cached on the machine (this fix should mean minimal loading times for all GW versions, including Factions, Nightfall, and Eye of the North.)
- Added new games: Puzzle Pirates & Lord of the Rings Online are now available for play.

The Cyber Lounge will be effectively closed Thursday at 4:00 PM to reload stations with the new loadset; the site should be open and available for use again Friday morning.

Was trying to update Warcraft III Frozen Throne to connect to battle.net but could not have access to write on the disk.
I know it may take some time..but the file's size is less than 100 MB for sure.
Could you guys please update Warcraft III?

I'm having an issue getting on WoW on the macs. It says that it failed to apply the patch. Is this unique to me, or is this occurring for all usernames on the macs?

It's happening on all the macs I think, regardless of usernames. WoW and WC3 update would be real nice.

In addition, SC:BW instead of regular Starcraft would be cool too.

WoW is not updated to patch 2.3. Every time you want to play WoW on any of the Dell machines, you have to re-download and re-install the patch, which take about 10 minutes. Would be appreciated if the clients could be updated on the Dells.

couple things...

WoW doesn't work on macs, same error as above. It was the first and only time I tried playing on them, since all the PCs were taken up by people greasing up the keyboards with Wendy's grease and just facebooking people.
More than 1/2 of the PCs we need to reapply 3 patches every time.

PCs and Macs no longer have write permission and so cannot download latest WoW patch. No one can play WoW.

The halo client needs to be updated, it cannot view available servers without the update.
