- Money
Naturally, games cost money. We have to buy a copy of each game for each computer in the Cyber Lounge. This is why free games (or subscriber-based games like World of Warcraft) are desirable. - Compatibility
With both Mac and PC computers in the league, we'll likely look more favorably on spending money on games that are compatible with both Macs and PCs. Furthermore, on both platforms (or one or the other for single-platform games) we need to be able to run the game without a CD. For a lot of games, this isn't possible. - License
Some games that we've explored (e.g. Battlefield 2142) link their CD-Key to a specific user account. Naturally, since we only have one CD-Key per computer, we can't support these games.

One game I'd like to see on these computers is Nexiuz 2.3, a free first-person shooter similar to the quake series. /shrug, another addition to the mix that shouldn't cost you guys money :) . Website: http://www.alientrap.org/nexuiz/
Can you update the servers so that World of Warcraft has the current patch 2.3.0? It is 692 MB large so it is nearly impossible to download this and then play in a reasonable time at the Cyber Lounge. Thanks.
Yea, seconded!
could you guys get some more RTS's for the PC? Warcraft III or anything?
howabout team Fortress 2?
TF2 would be expensive to put on these computers... It's not like Steam is going to give U of M free copies...
